How the anti-sniper fee works
- Start fee: you choose 10%–50% for the first trades after launch.
- Duration: it falls to your normal fee (1%–7%) over 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, stepping down every 10 seconds.
- Shape: Even falls in a straight line; Fast drop falls steeply first, then flattens.
- Everywhere: it lives in the token's Meteora pool, so it applies on every app, aggregator and trading bot. It cannot be changed after launch.
- Your first buy is exempt: bundled into the launch, it pays only your normal fee.
Example
- A bot buying 1 SOL in the first seconds pays about 0.5 SOL in fees.
- After 5 minutes the fee is about 26%.
- After 10 minutes everyone pays the normal 2%.
The fees snipers pay are split like all trading fees: Meteora 20%, then you 80% and Bag It 20% of the rest.
More protection against bots and dumps
- Volatility fee: rises by up to 20% of your normal fee when bots trade back and forth within seconds.
- No mint or freeze authority: the supply is fixed and nobody can freeze holders.
- Locked liquidity: after graduation the pool's liquidity is locked forever.
- Creator vesting: lock 2–10% of supply for yourself, unlocking daily, so holders can see you can't dump early.

FAQ
How do I stop snipers on my Solana token launch?
Launch with an anti-sniper fee: trades right after launch pay a high fee (up to 50%) that falls to your normal fee over 1–60 minutes. Snipers either pay most of their buy as fees, which go to you and the pool, or wait until the fee is normal. Add your own first buy in the launch transaction so nobody can buy before you.
Does the anti-sniper fee work on trading bots and other apps?
Yes. On a Bag It Custom launch the fee is part of the token's Meteora pool, so every app, wallet, aggregator and bot that trades the token pays it. It is not a website rule that bots can bypass.
Are trades blocked during the anti-sniper period?
No. Nobody is blocked: early trades are just charged more. The fee drops every 10 seconds, in a straight line (Even) or steeply first (Fast drop), until it reaches your normal fee.
Does my own first buy pay the anti-sniper fee?
No. A first buy bundled into the launch transaction pays only your normal fee.
What is the volatility fee?
An optional surcharge (Meteora's dynamic fee) that rises by up to 20% of your normal fee when the price swings sharply within seconds, which is typical of bots trading back and forth. It eases back automatically.
